Can I train after a Sports Massage?

Sports Massage has a different effect on every individual therefore even Tho you might be one of the lucky ones walking away energetic and ready to tackle a bull, we do not advise training the same day or less than 24h after a Sports Massage. Reason being, during the treatment your muscle fibers get put under severe pressure which very commonly result in muscle fiber breakage, light inflammation and weakness that can lead to injury during strenuous exercise.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?

Your first sports massage session would most likely be an uncomfortable and slightly painful experience as your therapist will have to drain the muscle and find any hidden adhesions and scar tissue that might be causing your discomfort. Be prepared to drink loads of water to flush your lymph nodes after the session to help fight the nauseating feeling that might occur through the build up.
